I am waiting for long time to own a new domain , and now it’s happened. Just visit my new blog here, . And I want to share with you all the things I learned, mainly Sharepoint, Silverlight, JQuery, Bing , so always tune me on my new Url  to keep updated with my blog.

  1. i want to create cusom permission to allow IT admin to manage to permission on my MOSS fram witout opening the file on the Document Library. could you help me on this please

  2. There is nothing more to say – someone has really thought about this.

  3. I have a question on Sharepoint’s ListService and CheckinFile.
I have a simple document library on MOSS 2007 SP2 running on Win2k8R2 server.
I am writing a simple app (to get my hands dirty) where I will upload a file via HTTP PUT and then checkin the file using Lists:CheckinFile.
Document Library is setup with version settings to be Create Major and Minor and also “Require documents to be checked out before they can be edited” set to be True.
The issue is everytime I try to checkin the file, it throws a SoapException with Exception of type ‘Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException’ was thrown. “The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)”
    I didn’t have this issue with MOSS2007 SP1 on a Win2k8 machine.
Any ideas what could be going wrong?
    Thanks for your help.
